Fragment of the Lord of Nightmares, release thy heavenly retribution. Blade of cold, black nothingness: become my power, become my body. Together, let us walk the path of destruction and smash even the souls of the Gods! RAGNA BLADE!

How can you look at that for more than 2 seconds and conclude that it's anything other than a bunch of ST geeks acting out their pathetic fantasies? LOOK at it!

You have to admire their dedication tho. They spent quite alot of money doing that I'm sure. And theyre not making a profit.
Now, how about some fanatical (and admirable) warsies?

I have no respect for Warsies who make 'serious' fan films. I think they're losers.
However, funny fan films are a whole different kettle of fish.
Where is that picture from, btw?

I thought TROOPS was intended to be more or less serious?

Actually, I work with their dad. The Exeter movie sat for a long time untouched with a couple clips on their website until Rodenberry's son contacted them late last year. After that they went back to work to finish all the post production stuff that had been sitting undone.
At least watch it with the acknowledgement that it's TOS and not some TNG wankfest.
The regional governors now have direct control over their territories. Fear will keep the local systems in line. Fear of this battle station.

Those Star Wars customes are pretty nice. I remember seeing a Stormtrooper and Darth Vader at a local shop once. They were 400 bucks each.

No more so than those of us who devote a lot of time to fanfiction... they just want to take it a step further.
