Does anyone else remember VGA Planets? This seems like the kind of group where we'd have at least a couple of people who remember this phenomenally addictive (albeit dated) play by email space empires game.
Of those of you who played and who remember, is anyone interested in a game? Several of my friends and I are are starting up a game in the next week or two, and we still have a couple of open slots.
Right now the races that are definitely taken are:
The Evil Empire
The Rebels
The Robots
The Lost Colonies of Man
The Privateers
The Crystals
with one player waffling between the Lizards and the Cyborgs. This means one of those, and the Solar Federation, the Birdmen and the Fascists are still up for grabs if any of you are interested.
I do ask that anyone who asks to join commit to actually finishing out the game. It's really frustrating for everyone else involved when one person drops out halfway through the game and creates a vacuum.
