Largest Concievable duel

So where does a fight Cross the line between a Duel & a battle, I was thinking about the Opening scene in Cyrano De Bergerac. Where Cyrano and Christian fight over 500 people using their swords, and every piece of furnature in the dockside tavern, the Docks, bridges etc. *This includes breaking the balcony while over a hundred persuers are on it.*

Duel = 2 people. Fight > 2 people.
