I've got the habit of imaging all my games, putting all the discs into one functional disk image, and installing with that. Nobody wants to find six UT2k4 disks, or change the bloody image five times.
But Metal Fatigue has always stumped me. It's got a two-disk install, and I can combine the two so that it runs through the install in one go just fine. However, it's quite an old game, and depending on what disc is inserted it decides what campaigns you can play of the three available. I can't work out how to make the image allow all three to be played along with the cd-audio music. I've tried putting both 'disk.tag' files on it, but it seems to find 'disk1.tag' and stop looking, thus preventing the use of the disk 2 campaigns.
Now, there are cracked versions (like on Underdogs), but those exes don't look for the cd-audio, so there's no music. Being such an unknown game, there aren't regular cracks for it... so I can't make a finished image that works for everything and throw my disks away. Does anyone have any ideas?
