Reincarnation states that a person lives a life, dies, then is reincarnated into another person, animal, plant, . . . whatever.

Maybe this does happen Quantum-ly. For each possiblity, in every conceivable time frame, for every possible parallel universe, . . . a lifeform may be one of many specific types of "conglomerations of energies", emerging as a cactus at one time in history, a pigmy marmocet in another, and changing it's "conglomerations of energies" at differnet points on the timeline. . . . . since energy is never really destroyed, but changes.

FWIW, I don't actually believe it, I just thought I would have some fun with parallel universes and higher dimensions.

Sure. . . . . Sure. Though I figured it was an original thought. Physicist I certainly am not, and don't really want to be. Too much advanced mathmatics involved. However, I thought it would be fun playing around with the notion of "reincarnation" and my limited understanding of parallel universes.

Energy is an invariant of an isolated system in question, not an indestructible stuff in that system. It is deeply related (through Noether's theorem) to the fact that physical laws are symmetrical with respect to time translations (the physical laws today are the same as the laws yesterday).

That energy isn't "destroyed" doesn't imply any kind of identity, any more than the number 6 implies any identity.

It doesn't have a "conglomeration," either.

Parallel universes would imply alternate versions of the same person, not reincarnation. It's like the '92 Subaru Legacy sitting in my driveway is the reincarnation of a '91 Subaru Legacy.

That's just neomystic babble. If you wanted to find a materialistic means of reincarnation, just say that the things a person is made up of, atoms, subatomic shit, whatever, gets recycled by all life. While we may not be self aware in another life, chemicals gained from us may fuel the awareness of another entity, we may be connected between lives in that manner.

Also, only use ellipses if you abide by english rules. They consist of 3 dots that are in immediate succession, no spaces, no more than three.
