Also the xbox is on the net but selldom used.

The yellow cable is for TV.

Shit, you've got me beat... I've just got a cheap old Netgear wireless router and a gigE switch which I don't even use most of the time, although I do have four computers hooked up to it all.

Did the condo come with the rack or did you buy that yourself? (If the latter, how much did it cost?)

I bought the rack, 500skr or around 65 dollars.

Just 2 (soon to be 4) desktops (mother's, sister, soon to be mine, mother, sister, other sister), 2-4 laptops (I have two, my two other sisters have a laptop each). Modded Linksys router downstairs connected to the cable modem and to a switch upstairs.

Nah, I have my router, and two 4 port hubs. 6 computers and an Xbox on the network.

Just wait for Dest to post.

All I have is attempts at using Windows peer networking to try and get an older PC to work through the new PCs net.

I just replaced my 5-port Netgear 10/100 switch with a 24-port 10/100. I have 4 wires plugged into it: my router, my computer, a NAS box I bought at a CompUSA store-closing, and an extra wire for any computer I'm fixing at the time.

Of course, I intend to have my future consoles plugged into it, and more computers at some point (I have at least 3 Athlons I could get set up if so inclined). It was 20% off and an 8-port gigabit switch cost nearly twice as much, so...
