Firefox thinks I'm English?

Firefox thinks I'm English?
I finally got Firefox working properly by reinstalling. However, it seems Firefox now thinks I'm in the UK: all my search engines have been replaced by .co.uk versions where possible. I poked around and couldn't find localisaton settings, and I can't work out how to change it back.
I think Firefox gets the locale info from the operating system, so check that nothing has changed in your timezone or location settings there.
Did you perhaps install the English(British) version of Firefox? I've always used the US english version, so I'm not sure if that make the change or not.

Marcus Aurelius: ...the Swedish S-tank; the exception is made mostly because the Swedes insisted really hard that it is a tank rather than a tank destroyer or assault gun
Ilya Muromets: And now I have this image of a massive, stern-looking Swede staring down a bunch of military nerds. "It's a tank." "Uh, yes Sir. Please don't hurt us."

You can change it manually. Go toStark wrote:Nah, my location and shit is set right. I don't remember what sort of Fireofx I downloaded, so maybe that's it. Sigh. I'll redownload and see if I've got the regular version.
Why would the make a version that uses the .co.uk engines, with no option to change? It's madness.
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins
open the [search engine].src files with Notepad and change the URL's.
