Read Aloud Function in Microsoft Office Word

Post by Fire Fly »

Does anyone know what the command for having the program read aloud your text? I had accidently stumbled across it a few months ago but now I can't seem to remember it or get it to work. I have Microssoft Office Word 2003 and did not use any auxillary programs (i.e. programs that do read aloud your text).

Open Tools, click Speech. It should open a bar at the top of your screen that has the button "Speak." Highlight the text you want it to say, and click that button. The Speech bar also has a very functional Voice to Text program, provided you train it.

I've tried that, and it won't stop saying, "I'm drunk but I still won't sleep with you." It's getting kind of annoying.
