Diablo 2, expansion, CD keys

Post by LordShaithis »

Reinstalling Diablo 2 for some ding/loot goodness. Only problem is, I must have thrown away the expansion disc jewel case years ago, so now I don't have a CD key. Can anyone PM me a D2:LOD CD key? Note that I have no intention of trying to play on battlenet, all I need is something that will allow me to install.

*sigh* I had my key written down but it's now lost and the key on the case has been rubbed out partially since. :(

Well, at least that means I'm not going to play it again. :)
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Might be fun to start up D2 and LoD again sometime... eh, better not. 'Tis a silly game.

It's the kind of game where you get so sick of playing that you just stop and you think you'll never play it again. Then one day, you are feeling nostalgic, you reinstall, and you get hooked all over again.

When I first started playing it, I didn't like it. It wasn't until I gave it a second chance months later that it won me over.

I've come to prefer Titan Quest over it. I had a similar need for nostalgia a few weeks ago when I put in StarCraft and played that. It quickly got old, to the point where I don't ever want to play SC, or Diablo 2, again.

I've had three relapses, it would last a few weeks, more due to trying out new patches than anything else. When 1.10 was released, I returned to it for a few months before I got sick of it again.

I have been on again off again with Diablo II for YEARS. Probably dropped it and came back to it half a dozen times atleast, each instance for a shorter and shorter period of time.

Titan Quest, while however the best Methadone for my waning Cocaine addiction, just wasn't up to D2 standards. The skill sets and progression just suck horribly. Hopefuly Hellgate: London will be the next true fix should it ever be released.
