Some people actually tend to believe that. And don't bother to try another one as long as IE comes with Windows.

Reading that with Mozilla gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

Microsoft saying that IE is the most secure browser is about as credible as me saying I have the biggest penis of all. The very fact that IE required so many patches destroys their claim right out of the box.

I love their logic: "we've found and patched so many huge gaping security holes in IE that it must be secure by now!"

It would be a riot if new versions of IE come with a well-hidden warning like this:

"Even though we have patched all major security holes, we cannot guarantee that the new version of IE doesn't suffer from good ol' Microsoft-Brand Incompetence."
