It's seriously pretty sick, I recall mostly from some wanker who wanted oWoD Vamps to be a player on-par with the Wyrm and the Technocratic Union, and refusing to admit that the Ante's are mere insects to be swept away before the might of Enlightened Science.
Wait, I agree with the Technocracy or Wyrm smushing an Ant easily, but I have a beef with your first statement.
Not using Gehenna(IE, pre-ascending-to-godhood Ante's), the Ante's are smashed flat by Alucard.
During Gehenna the Ant's were shown as being before their evolvement/Ascension, that is incredibly powerful Vampires but not gods.
There are a few Ant's who do arguably manage to ascend, but the adventure states that they are reaching their old level of power (Tremere diablerizing a Methesuleh for a quick boost, or Shaper eating Nosferate in order to be able to start achieving her goals [Before Gangrel ATE her]).
The Ant's who did retain part of their pre-"Time of thin blood" powers (It affected the strongest vampires first and hardest [Lillith was able to cause her allies to retain most of their powers, and they were almost able to stalemate Kaine (In one scenario)] were truly heinous.
Alucard simply can't do shit against Gangrel for example (Gangrel is effectively the earth and can eat anything that is on earth due to Earthquakes [The fate of the Antideluvian shaper]).
In addition we have Antideluvians like The Tzimisce which ends up absorbing 95+% of ALL life on earth, and is some sort of hive mind fungus constantly regrowing, and last I checked Alucard can't effect a BDZ or call on a divine Deus ex machina.
I do agree that he could squish the weaker, non 13 clans Antideluvians from during the TOTB (Such as Giovanni).
His ability to hurt an Antideluvian retaining anything like it's real powers is very arguable, even against the weaker/Physical and conventional Ones.
An easy example would be Ravenos. [From a Pre Gehenna adventure]
R was weakened, woke up early, was a relatively weak Antideluvian, had almost no blood and had no allies or help.
It still took 3 days of non stop assaults by Elder Eastern vampires/Kui-Jin (Who are a good deal stronger as a base than most standard vampires, though I am probably mistaken about this due to not having the Kui-jin source books), All done in sunlight (Intensified by giant orbital mirror satellites controlled by the Technocracy), with a stream of supernatural reinforcements as cannon fodder against Ravenos.
They also had a nuke (Or 3, I'm not sure), or to be precide a "Neutron bomb" designed to only affect magical beings such as Ravenos, but ot be far more effective and powerful (Without leaving any physical/non spiritual radiation).
All of this didn't kill Ravenos, it only weakened him further the sunlight did.
In other words, even without the Ant's ability to Reshape continents at will or literal no limits powers (As in ""Fortitude 10"- you can resist any damage so long as you have a point of blood remaining" according to the guidelines for level 10 disciplines, though this is probably meant to show the abilities of Antediluvians at their peak and should not be regarded as a baseline), they still have Alucard beat in durability/power hard.
I remember talking about this in the last thread. Alucard hasn't got the durability of very high end vampires
