Oh, wait, which part of my post was about how to spend your money? Right, none of it. I was proving a point at how badly Sony was performing on this round of the console wars, and how fucking retarded it is for them not to include a cable that is needed to see HD content in an HD system. Note that Xbox does this off the bat, without ridiculously priced "extras". Forgive me if I think that when you spend $600 on a system, the could at least be bothered to throw in the cables you need, but hey, what do I know.
By the way, those stats you keep quoting? How many of THOSE numbers are consumers in the console market, hmm? I suspect the number is higher than 15% in the US. Moreover, the number is going to be driven up by the fact that PS3 is the most expensive console of the three, and thus will end up in the hands of those willing (and able) to spend more for a game system.

If you want to buy an overpriced console with minimal games and an uncertain future, hey feel free, you're right, it is your money. Okay, the Dreamcast is a bit of a cheap shot, but you get what I'm going at here. Yeah, it's your money, but you seriously expect that little protest to prevent people from making fun of you when you extoll the virtues of whatever you've spent your money on. If it makes you happy, hey, whatever, but then people toss their money at John Edward and that makes them feel great, but anyone with half a brain knows it's a load of shit.
If Sony had maybe another year to work on the PS3, it would have been a serious contender this time around, but as it is? It's a joke. All of the major developers are eying Nintendo and Microsoft, if not jumping ship outright. They may be able to make it less of a disaster given some work, but right now, it's a travesty. Ebay sales for the PS2 kept going strong for quite some time after the launch, but now you've got Ebay sales going for less than retail. That should tell you something right there. Sony is fucked, and they've lost this round because they shoved out their system early. So you'll forgive me if I don't buy your whole "BEST PS EVAR" rantings and instead try to inject a touch of truth into your fanboyish rantings.
But hey, keep assuming that your own personal situation is going to be the situation for everyone else in the world.
As a final note, "I have a Wii too!" is not a rebuttal to "PS3 is sub-par with the rest of the generation".
