Khedin/Rakot, easily. Of course, then they became gods of the Multiverse, but that is a differnt story.

Have a very nice day.

Draw your sword and follow the Limper, or draw your sword and die in unholy agony!

What!? You've never heard of Elminster of Shadowdale, Chosen of Mystra, arguably the most powerful man in all of Faerun? Maybe even in all of Faerun's history.

Elminster is a worthless goody-goody. Sure, he may he more powerful than the Limper, but the Limper is just flat-out cool!

Death! Death to all his path!

Dworkin, Oberon, Fiona and quite a few other Amberites have the capacity to just collapse that entire universe. Would barely make a ripple on the ocean of shadow. No big loss, and the biggest competition you pathetic shadow-dwellers can muster is gone.

'course, the Imperator of Zan can mess with the Amberites, but he's technically not a mage...

The Unnamable (crappy translation from Russian) is a universe. Or, rather a multiverse, that is one and sentient. It turns anything from our universe into itself. it's like matter and anti-matter, except when they meet, matter turns to anti matter.

it is imprisoned by Hedin and Rakot who are creating new universes (worlds) at the rate of many hundreds of thousands per second, the rate at which it can consume them, so that it can't advance any further. it still can create armies in this world which would bithslap the only multi-universal I know, the Burning Legion. (the armies don't get dealt with by the New Gods, btw, but by lesser wizards)

Still thik Amber will win?

Have a very nice day.

It'll make it damn close... But the power of the pattern would hold "the unnameable" quite well I'm willing to bet.

That and the fact that in order to preserve Amber and the Courts, they would happily destroy any shadow infested by "the unnameable"...

The Imperator's powers, BTW, are very simple - he determines what is and what is not possible, but he himself is the center of all creation, and if he is ever killed/destroyed, all creation, everywhere, ends, forever.

Of course, it's improbable that he will ever be killed, as he himself has decided that it is impossible.

I'm not familiar with the pattern. But be aware, that ANYTHING that is not unnamable becomes it (as in turns part of it).

Have a very nice day.

This shouldn't be in the OT forum, btw.

Oh, and Gandalf gets his ass kicked by the other mages listed here.
